This week presents many fantastic opportunities as promotional products professionals from all over the world descend upon Las Vegas to attend the industry’s largest tradeshow, PPAI Expo. While the opportunities range from simple networking to finding the key product for a client presentation, I would argue that the best opportunity to grow is represented in the educational offerings during the week.
It’s amazing how many people think that school’s out once goals are achieved and comfort sets in. These are the people who grumble about the way things “used to be” rather than revel in these marvelous times of rapid change. If you think there’s nothing more to learn than your business obituary has already been written as concepts, technology, and different thought pass you by.
Between the large meals, miles walked, and connections made, take time to attend education sessions that inspire you. There are any number of excellent speakers giving presentations: Johnny Cupcakes, Danny Rosin, Mark Graham, Jon Norris, Cliff Quicksell, Bobby Lehew, Charity Gibson, Kirby Hasseman, Patrick Black, Dale Denham, Paul Kiewiet, and David Shultz to name a few. With topics ranging from creating a company store to presenting like a pro, there is something for everyone, regardless of career level. To find the session that's right for you, just click here. There are great sessions all week so don't despair if you arrive in Las Vegas after Monday.
Yes, I’m speaking at Expo as well and links to my sessions are below if one or more of the topics strike your fancy. However, this isn’t a plug for me or my sessions. Rather, it’s a challenge to each one of you attending Expo to leave Las Vegas with a brain as full as your stomach.
