As a society, we love to celebrate people and organizations when they achieve a goal. We like to view them as basking in the glow of their accomplishments and enjoying the well-deserved fruits of their labor. Far too often, we ignore the hard work it takes to achieve something of consequence because it’s difficult for an outsider to truly understand the effort, persistence, and dedication it takes to reach a goal.
Ask someone you admire who has achieved anything of merit will they will tell you the real glory is in the grind.
They live for it
They celebrate it
They embrace it
They cherish it
They protect it
Successful people never think, “I’m finally here.” Instead, they look forward to the glory of the grind by wondering, “what’s next?”
