As a salesperson, you want to tell prospects and clients your unique story. Usually it boils down to three basic components:
Who you are
What you do
How you can help them
However, there is one piece missing from your story puzzle – in fact, it’s the most important piece: sharing WHY you do what we do.
The why is the passion – the things about the promotional products industry that move you: creativity, problem solving, helping clients, etc. Passion is one of the few human emotions that is fully transferrable. When you effectively share your passion, it builds a relationship bridge where ideas and communication will freely cross.
If you don’t share the why, will your audience truly care who you are or what you do?
