I have always found the concept of New Year’s Resolutions to have a bit of a negative connotation. It seems that whenever someone speaks of their resolutions, they are almost always focused on areas of improvement or the cessation of bad habits. Because of this, I don’t make resolutions for the upcoming journey around the sun. Instead, I make “continuations” which are aimed at enhancing the positive strides I have made – both personally and professionally – in the previous year.
In that spirit, I would like to share my 2015 continuations:
Create meaningful content
Add value to clients
Focus on solutions
Be personally accountable
When 2015 draws to an end, would you rather have a list of 2014 resolutions that didn’t quite work out as you had hoped OR would you rather have a list of continuations that allowed you to truly grow in a positive way? I know my answer.
