It's Friday and time for the brandivate beverage of the week! This week we are (well, Bill is) enjoying a beer that we've waited for our entire life: Little Dreamer from Revolution Brewing in Chicago. Why have we waited for it our entire life? Because it's the first Van Halen can of beer in the history of brewing - that’s why! The beer is pretty good, but let's talk about that can! Look at the exquisite design, the immediately identifiable (and legendary) guitar, and the black beer can. At this point, we don't even care if the beer is good or not - that can is amazing! Okay, we actually DO care about the beer and it's surprisingly good. It's a crisp pilsner with just enough of a hoppy bite to let you know it has a little of that Van Halen attitude and a perfect way to end an amazing week.

It’s Friday and time for the nearly patented brandivate beverage of the week! While summer officially starts tomorrow, the near triple degree temperatures today screams for a refreshing drink, which is why we are enjoying a Blackberry Vanilla Fizz. The full recipe (which is a collaboration between brandivate Managing Partners Kelsey Cunningham and Bill Petrie) is below but it contains homemade vanilla vodka (one bottle Pickers vodka + one split vanilla bean + one week = vanilla vodka), fresh blackberries, fresh lime juice, a smidge of simple syrup, and bubly blackberry sparkling water! It’s a light, invigorating beverage and perfect for a hot summer afternoon.

Recipe: Blackberry Vanilla Fizz
Ingredients

2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
-
5 fresh blackberries
-
½ oz. simple syrup
-
½ oz. fresh lime juice
-
Blackberry sparkling water
-
1 fresh mint leaf
-
Fresh mint leaves and blackberries for garnish
Directions
In a mixing glass add the vodka, simple syrup, lime juice, 5 blackberries, one mint leaf and muddle. Pour mixture into an old-fashioned glass with one large ice cube. Top with blackberry sparkling water and garnish with a single folded mint leaf and a blackberry on a toothpick.

It's hot, it's Friday, and it's time for the brandivate beverage of the week! Today we are enjoying some glorious sun out on the Back 40 with one of the most perfect summer beers in the history of brewing: Ruby Redbird from Shiner Beer in the great state of Texas! Why is it one of the most perfect summer brews? It's brewed with both Texas Ruby Red grapefruit and ginger which gives it a tart, refreshing taste that is perfect for sitting outside on a warm day watching the world go by.

It's Friday and time for the brandivate Beverage of the Week? Sure, let's go with that. Today we are enjoying the refreshing Frosecco from Martini & Rossi. Look, it's getting hot in Middle Tennessee and a frozen drink really cools off the afternoon. This lovely concoction is made from premium Italian Prosecco and white wine with natural lemon flavors and we can see enjoying this on the beach or on the Back 40.
